What we do?

Dr. Chris Education aims to encourage kids falling in love with science from a very young age. At Dr. Chris STEAM lab, we develop a variety of children’s science education products including online and face to face science workshop, STEAM holiday camp, DIY science crates, science birthday parties, indoor science exhibitions and children’s science books. By encouraging the concept of learning science with fun, kids can experience the charm of science in a most creative and interactive way!

Hi, I'm Dr. Chris

Chris Ferrie is a physicist, mathematician, researcher, children’s book author and father of four budding young scientists. He obtained his doctorate in Mathematical Physics from the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Canada and is currently an associate professor at University of Technology Sydney.

Chris is the creator and author of “Quantum Physics for Babies” and many many more science books for babies and young kids. He has now published more than 40 books in English by introducing complex subjects to children with simple illustrations.

Since 2017, Chris joined the production of a 52 episode video lecture “Physics for Babies”, specially designed for kids in China . He also worked with China Children’s Publication and Press Group, the biggest children’s book publisher in China and wrote a 50 book series “Red Kangaroo Thousands Physics Whys”.
